So, you’re ready for an online firearm purchase? Awesome!

If you’re buying a gun online, the firearm will have to be shipped to a gun store/Federal Firearm Licensee (FFL) for them to satisfy the background check requirements and transfer the gun to you in person. A transfer occurs by you filling out an ATF form, called the Form 4473, and satisfying the background check requirements.

Here are the steps to buying guns online from Ray Gunz and Things:

#1 Find a FFL(Federal Firearm License) holder in your area.
Examples: Gun shops, Pawn shops, etc… You may search for local FFL here:https://www.fflregistry.com/Search-FFL-By-ZIP/ (We are not affiliated with fflregistry.com). Once you locate an FFL, You will need to confirm that the local FFL is willing to accept transfers shipped in to you. Most FFLs also charge a fee this service.

#2 Purchase the firearm
Once you’ve confirmed that the FFL is willing to accept the online firearm for transfer to you and you are ok with their fees, you will be ready to purchase your firearm online. Once you have completed the purchase of the firearm, You will need to contact the FFL and have them email a copy of their license to support@raygunzandthings.com along with your name, phone number, and order number.

#3 Pick up your firearm from FFL
Once your firearm arrives at your FFL location, they should contact you to let you know that your firearm has arrived. Make sure that you bring a government- issued ID with your picture and current address. * REMEMBER* Before the firearm is transferred to you, you will have to fill out an ATF Form 4473 and satisfy the background requirements.

#4 Firearm Inspection
Before accepting transfer, inspect firearm to verify condition and that it is the firearm that you are supposed to be receiving. Once everything is finished, transfer is completed.
